March Campout Report

5thwhl The St. Patty’s Campout at Petaluma was a great success. There were 11 rigs and the food at this campout was particularly good with two types of exceptionally tasty corned beef, a lamb stew to die for, soda bread, cabbage and specialty potatoes. We had big camping breakfasts each morning for everyone, big Italian hospitality with homemade spaghetti sauce with sausage, fresh green salad and rolls and hot Irish coffees with whipped cream at night around the campfire. Dave and Myra gave us all a tour of their new fifth wheel while serving wine, beer, cheese and crackers. The weather was great. A special thanks goes out to all the cooks for this campout. Short of our yearly Thanksgiving campout, I cannot remember the last time the food was so coordinated and tasty.

Thanks

Wagonmasters Susan, Barry, Christa and Kathy
