The annual Halloween Campout was held at Smithwoods RV Park in Felton on October 28. We had a total of 14 rigs and 44 attendees. The weather was great. It was warm during the day and cool in the evening which was perfect weather for a camp fire on both Friday and Saturday nights. On Saturday, Myra A. hosted a jewelry party that was given by Peggy S, a guest of Myra. She had a great turn out and even had other campers join us from the park. On Saturday after the potluck, Smithwoods campground held a trick and treating event that we participated in. We had a lot of ghost’s princesses’, frogs, witches and other visitors. The kids had a blast. We enjoyed seeing all the kids dressed up. Steve and Vivian F. donated a Mickey Mouse Halloween themed doll and the kids had their own drawing and Ashley L. was the winner. Thanks for the prize. Steve and Vivian went all out decorating their trailer and Steve even dressed up for the event. There was a haunted house that was put on by Smithwoods and some of the brave adults went. They reported back that it was pretty scary. See you all at the next campout. Kathy, Denise and Ron |
